By registering as an Author or submitting a book to Fastbunny Bookstore, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Author Eligibility
Authors should be 18 years or older. Authors must provide accurate personal and payment information. Fastbunny may request additional information to verify an Author's identity or publishing rights.
2. Your Books & Copyright
You keep ownership of your books, manuscripts, artwork, and other original content. By submitting your book, you give Fastbunny permission to store, display, promote, and sell your book through the Fastbunny platform. This permission is only for operating and promoting the Fastbunny Bookstore service. You confirm that you own the rights to your book or have permission to publish and sell it.
3. Book Content
Authors are responsible for everything they submit. Books must not contain illegal material, copyright infringement, fraud, harmful content, or material that violates the rights of others. Fastbunny may reject, remove, or restrict a book that violates these Terms or applicable Zimbabwean law.
4. ISBN
Fastbunny Bookstore does not provide or issue ISBNs. Authors who require an ISBN are responsible for obtaining one through the appropriate ISBN authority. Fastbunny is not responsible for obtaining, registering, or maintaining an Author's ISBN.
5. Book Sales & Pricing
Authors may set or provide the selling price of their books, subject to Fastbunny's applicable pricing and promotional rules. Fastbunny may offer discounts, promotions, featured listings, or other marketing campaigns.
6. Royalties & Payments
Authors receive the applicable share of money earned from eligible book sales after the applicable Fastbunny commission and other authorised transaction deductions. Payments are made according to Fastbunny's current payout schedule. Authors are responsible for providing correct payment details. Fastbunny may delay or hold payments where there is a refund, disputed transaction, suspected fraud, copyright dispute, or other legitimate reason.
7. Refunds
Refunds may be provided where required by law or where Fastbunny determines that a refund is appropriate. If a sale is refunded after an Author has already received payment, the refunded amount may be deducted from future Author earnings.
8. Promotions
Fastbunny may promote books through its website, applications, social media, email, advertisements, featured sections, or other marketing channels. By submitting a book, you allow Fastbunny to use your book title, cover, Author name, description, biography, and suitable previews for promotional purposes. Promotion does not guarantee sales or income.
9. Customer Information
Authors must use Reader or Customer information responsibly and only for legitimate purposes related to their books and Author-reader relationship. Authors must not sell, misuse, or unlawfully share customer information.
10. Account Suspension or Removal
Fastbunny may suspend or remove an Author account or book if the Author:
- Breaks these Terms;
- Provides false information;
- Uploads copyrighted material without permission;
- Engages in fraud or unlawful activity; or
- Creates a security or serious operational risk.
Outstanding legitimate payments and obligations may still apply after an account is closed.
11. Platform Availability
Fastbunny aims to keep the platform available but cannot guarantee that it will always operate without interruptions, technical problems, or downtime. Fastbunny may update, change, add, or remove features from the platform.
12. Taxes
Authors are responsible for their own tax and other legal obligations relating to income earned through Fastbunny Bookstore. Fastbunny may make deductions or request information where required by applicable law.
13. Privacy
Fastbunny may collect and process Author information required to operate the platform, process payments, verify accounts, provide services, and communicate with Authors. Author information will be handled according to Fastbunny's applicable Privacy Policy and Zimbabwean data-protection requirements.
14. Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any dispute should first be addressed directly with Fastbunny so that the parties can attempt to resolve it.
15. Changes to These Terms
Fastbunny may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means that you accept the updated Terms.
